Some progress with gray values in this one. I dont usually use this method but i tought i would be rather interesting to focus on areas and values for the image weight before getting to the color 😋

Today I fixed the values in the coloured areas, fixed Shantae`s nose and proceeded to the polishing stage. Now the lines are no longer necessary (I decided to go for a lineless painting)

Now it's just a matter of chilling a having fun.

My (current) favourite piece is this outdated Spinosaurus! The colours printed so nicely, from the pastel sky fading into gold at the horizon, to the green glow near the water's surface. In person the risograph inks make some areas nearly neon.

More progress today! I flattened the layers and refined a little bit in some areas. I also gave the face a more 3D definition and started working on colours.
