A little behind on but I’m really enjoying the contrast in my last two pieces! Gonna take it slow and start enjoying and exploring more for sure. “Mercy” and “Skeleton”.

Yeah, beams often did, same with explosions and environmental stuff, but auras were mostly just overlaid with high contrast colouring which is why we reflected that here compared to DBS.

As it's

On the Internet I'm a female hyena with a dragon's heart who enjoys to draw in her free time while listening to true crime podcasts 🔪

In contrast to those cruel stories my art is (mostly) cute and colorful ⭐🌈

Today's color-contrast pairing is Alphys/Undyne (Alphyne) from Undertale! 💛/💙

Alphys gives obvious hints to her crush on Undyne, Mettaton even elaborating on it. They eventually get together, and though they are less close in Deltarune, a romantic relationship is still hinted.

Thank you for coming to today's Phasmo stream! Zura and I had matching glasses but our demeanors were totally different! 👓✨
If you like the contrast between someone who's calm and someone who's losing their 💩 please watch the stream~
I hope everyone had fun! I did!! 💕

Clean up, final line, and flats. This section is also done in Procreate. This is where I get the actual look I want from the character while making sure my lines are neat. I then do my flats as odd contrasting colors. Helps me see the shapes and catch any odd messy parts.

Hi
I'm Nicky I work as a concept artist ✨
My favorite part of creating art is to add elements of things that I love into my illustrations ✨ edgy and soft is just the best contrast ❤️

This is a comparison and not meant to be overly critical of this art. You can see the contrast in the foreground character, which works well. However, several background/foreground elements could work better by different color choices.

History: Yang was initially created based off of my Chinese zodiac animal, the ram/sheep. She was often drawn/paired with Cy as a contrast. Her personality and parts of her design have changed since her early art.

Trumpets Of The Night, 30 x 24". Permeating the still night air, evening flowers gather among the contrasting stony landscape. A golden-hewn stair case guides us past their mesmerizing perfume toward the distant world of dreamy clouds and night sky beyond.
