I tried to find the most finished, painterly piece of 2009 for comparison and I ACTUALLY FOUND ONE. It took me weeeeks, whereas the last one was a couple hours absent mindedly shoving paint around as my GF streams pokemon.

Pokemon pet

Felablaze: despite it’s ferocious appearance it’s very needy and will constantly smother it’s trainer in love. It’s been known to accidentally start fires this way.

Kindlit: it’s a skittish but highly loyal pokemon. It’s rear is covered in soot.

Opaleye, the Brilliant Eye Pokemon. Opaleye are small and skittish, terrified of anything larger than them. Thanks to the glassy scales that cover their eyes, they have amazing vision that allows them to make out threats nearly a mile away!
