Campbell packs a lot of interesting drama and characterization into the backgrounds of her panels, so the art really rewards lingering on, and the comics reward re-reading. I enjoyed what appears to be a budding (but one-sided) rivalry between Pepperoni and Klunk, for example.

Here are the first two and last two pages of this issue. Now while the characterizations are a bit dated, the drama is not. This is pure Lois and Clark drama, they just keeep missing each other. I love it.
