Mike Mignola’s layouts impress me. No fancy tricks. Mostly using deceptively simple looking grids, he always creates interesting balance and flow between panel sizes. His use of “mood” panels and fearless amounts of negative space is impressive. A truly masterful storyteller.

we just beat a hack of crystal called crystal clear. it makes it open world (fight any of the gyms in any order you want and they scale appropriately) and adds a bunch of cool customizable stuff. it's very impressive, but at the same time, still just crystal at its core. it's ok
