I noticed there was some controversy surrounding a character from XC2, and a heated debate about fans editing designs to fit their views.

While I respect artistic expression, I too found that the design was in need of some improvements, so I present to you my take on it.

i just had a quick look at the drawings i've done this year and i honestly can't tell if i've made any improvements at all. though i guess half of the blame lies on the fact that i have so many different styles of rendering

I was responsible for the modelling of the assets in all the ship, this is running in an engine called Unigine which has very nice water technology.
I said I modelled the ship but many people more experienced than me in the engine have made a lot of tiny improvements over my work

Finished my character redesign. I wanted to try some new techniques using custom brushes! After 2 attempts I think this piece came out pretty well and I believe improvements can be made on future projects.

Blown away by the improvements in Portable 3rd the following year. Loved The Eastern mythological inspiration behind it!
