I have this piece from 2019, still really fond of the colour palette and the concept. But could definitely do with repainting this, pulling the composition in tighter and doing some wolf anatomy studies 🐺

when i first started drawing, i would only ever use pastel colors bc that was all i knew and thats what i thought i liked. but overtime i started using more neons, opposite colors on the color wheel, and weird color combinations. lo and behold, my style has drastically improved!

I like to think of it as a subtle statement about all transness being valid regardless of presentation. I don't think it's any coincidence that during Wano we met two trans characters on opposite ends of presentation in Yamato & Kikunojo with both being treated with equal respect
