I thought this concept was fairly out there, but apparently the European Woodcock has been observed carrying its young in its claws. Audubon claimed to observe the European Nightjar doing the same.

Differences in Wolf!Daud vs Wolf!Corvo 1: The way they use their powers/start transforming.
Their powers originate from their scars, so Daud gains his head/mask and uses blades. Corvos are on his arms so he uses his claws. In this universe, he has no folding blade (no need).
