I've figured out the reason why I like Lee so much.

It's because I had a crush on deadly chaser Chung and played his path a lot when I was younger. They share a lot of similarities. Just looking at fatal phantom Chung reaffirms it. 💀 2012 me was down bad horrendously.

I've read 4 vols of the LN and while I wouldn't say this was a notably bad adaptation, it really just highlighted the issues I have with this series; namely how bland the romantic chemistry between the main 2 is and how shit of a character Amane is.
