I think there is an important part that needs to be understood about descriptions.

A book is not television. We don't describe a scene so that readers know there is a table by the window and that it is three feet tall.

We are painting with words and imagination is our canvas.

People really misunderstood my intent behind the Korean in the original version (it said 해봐 which means “try it”; I was tryna be confrontational/threatening but people saw it as encouraging??? I ain’t encouraging y’all) so I changed it to something unequivocal
