making little ugly thumbnails is such a good way of visualising your ideas. no need to look pretty or make sense, just express an idea. also very helpful when created with a moodboard 🌸

Found out the reason why Doug no longer has drawn thumbnails for his videos is because the artist requested a raise when asked to help with the Critic's comeback in 2013. The Walkers responded by breaking off all contact.
Turns out they were paying him around $10 per thumbnail.

I have a full piece to post tomorrow but I've been making thumbnails for my Illustration homework and actually kinda like these? They're based off of a passage from "The Young Tamlane", the final project is a pair of travel posters based off the setting
