Speaking of this redesign, at the time I drew it I had a potential alternative design, so here are both designs side by side 😊

Out of pure curiosity, which one would you have chosen?

Give limits to your most powerful characters, stories get stale really fast when there are no limits in place, an example I gave to my lil Erdrich god here is that he has the potential to wipe away multiverses in a second but he’s an idiot and doesn’t know how to do that

Essentially!! He made some very bad choices, and then didn't see the consequences because everyone but Alex prioritized Jean & her self-concept over Maddie's personhood.

First three are essentially points where it felt like I took huge steps towards what my art looked like, with the last being one of my favorites to have drawn this year.

This Garfield character still gives me existential nightmares. He's an egg that only hatched a little, he interacts with others while being inside a shell, has him been born yet? Does he still eat the nutrients from inside? What is he hiding?

Finished this piece for (who is the absolute best) that I started in September of 2021 and for some reason I thought was a draw challenge (maybe it was a potential from Patreon?) anyway just in time for the end of fall, I’ve finished. Made with

-subadult, and a younger juvenile! Based on this find, it's been theorized that Yutyrannus might've been a social animal, forming small family units and using pack-hunting to take down prey, potentially including the sauropods of the Yixian Formation! (2/2)
