Something else about drawing noses, is that typically, she’ll draw them like this, where it looks highlighted in the center, and the sides are shaded. Other times however, it’s the opposite. Where it’s just one shaded strip in the center.
Another thing. When drawing lips, DO NOT ADD COLOR TO THEM. Kojima very rarely adds color to the lips of her characters. Unless they have lipstick, or some other specific reason, most of her characters have pale lips. Just shade the upper lip and call it good.
The most stylized features obviously being the face. You can easily tell an Ayami Kojima piece just by looking at the eyes, eyebrows, nose, and lips. But more importantly the shading. Ayami Kojima often tends to shade things with the light source coming from directly in front.
I’m too lazy to shade this. In the mean time guess who’s in which dress!
Also had lots of requests for this one: a population density map of India. This was by far the longest render.

@Futilrevenge The reason I stalled out on this one is I was waiting for VRay GPU to support OSL shaders so I could do parallax offset shaders for windows! Rather than having to cut them all in to a curved surface, I could just put them on as a decal. That now works, and I can get back to it!
