i made the backs of the ability cards from scratch using takane's render as a reference, and then just cropping the border from an existing card and placing it around the design. i made 20 ability cards (20 fronts and 20 backs), printed them onto cardstock and glued them together

The parallels are my favorite aspect of Naruto. Which I believe is Kishimoto's way for deep interactions between characters, such as their backstory. Tsunade's character was excellently written, and she was helpful in effectively portraying the reality of the ninja world.

Not sure why I'd never seen this before, what a great little cop thriller. An intriguing mystery, good handling of the grit, grime and strange/sordid types of the backstreets of 70's L.A. Matthau was a master of deadpan wit and cynicism, makes for skilfull absurdist levity.
