Both Vol and Tenta, two of my most prominent OCs, were inspired by a scrapped project for the Mega Man X (A sequel to Super Adventure Rockman).

Vol, a merc, and Tenta, a pub manager, who (barely) managed to escape a life of crime and start over in a very remote location.

I think for her youth Ann Greene would've had a hair-style similar to this scrapped design for Harriet. Having that clear similarity to Ann's allusion while still have a subtle distinctness to it.
