I usually draft the initial concept/idea for an image pretty fast but end up spending a lot of time trying to refine and fix things, esp if the original sketch got too sloppy LOL

Though I think the true start was a much messier doodle of this idea in one of my work notebooks, that made less sense, where I couldn’t remember the character designs lol
