@HeyIAmOpia Yes, it was wrong of me to single out only these two aspects, since the references provide any information you need. Any details can be important and valuable for a particular project.

So this is...kind of crazy. I decided to test my original DVDs from Bandai Entertainment, against the shots I made with the Funimation-released DVDs. The ones from Bandai seem to stay with the original aspect ratio (left), while Funimation doesn't always keep it (right).

Back in Nov. I minted this piece on the pit of depression I'd been in. I'd intended to do more mental health pieces, but haven't been in the right head space. Later today I'm finally minting my next one, on another aspect of mh I struggle with. I hope you'll check it out.
@Raftt_Art Well, there are lots of aspects I take into consideration, but the main part for me is to take into consideration something that's special about the OC then find a nice name/word that has that as a meaning. E.g. my cowgirl Moona (might be obvious) Ushiko (cow child in japanese)
While it helps to use tone as shadow, you don’t need to know advanced lighting techniques to add this aspect to your drawings. Simple blocking of three or four tones is enough to do the trick.

Wtf, I don't know why the aspect ratio keeps changing. You can clearly see the difference between these two shots...I think it depends on which monitor I'm using at the time? Which is super odd, but I'll need to test it.
