It's these pieces for me! I made the last one back in August based on Carracci's Pieta, and I think I learnt a lot from it! I love how baroque painters use dramatic light, deep shadows and the drama it gives, something I'd love to see in my own pieces.

This is my old human OC btw. It's Cayla aka Aidah. Both are the same person but in different outfits. I had to use Cayla's version but with alter cause the Aidah version is complicated for me to draw pixels.

Didn't work out like I wanted. I didn't plan this study out at all. Painted the sky without leaving the white of the canvas for the cloud, didn't give the gouache time to dry before adding new strokes. The values are off. Just a lot to learn from to do this better next time
