When I made mine 10 years ago they were a cat burglar and admittedly an expy of a video game character named Trilby.

Nowadays I've changed them to be a treasure hunter of some kind, and more of a character of their own, although I'm still figuring them out. Now it's Jonesy.

Back when Shaidz was a character I was using for story writing, at some point he had an evil counterpart: Dark Shaidz. Nowadays, "Dark" is into wearing tacky leather jackets and excessive hair gel, but is otherwise a pretty mellow guy.

Each app has its own cons and pros, but here's the thing: don't let the tool limit you. You can use multiple software for your art too! The art bellow was made in a few programs. My formula nowadays is:
