I've just realised that these two (which are up for auction tomorrow!) were actually painted on vintage J. Whatman paper from 1940. I confused the batch with handmade watercolour paper as they're stored together. Testament to the paper's quality that it took watercolour so well.

Got a beautiful Kittom the other week and named him Drace- oddly the name of another character I don't like very much, haha.

When playing around with a growth concept for him I realised I want to change his tail, so have a grove tail version of him!
