Originally the center island was an arch coming out of the water, such as those found at Natural Bridges State Beach in California, USA. Idea was cool but traditional island ended up looking better.

4. Favorite thing to draw?
Gnomes, machinery, furries, fantasy settings, roller coasters, monsters, thicker body types, and probably a whole lot more! I've also recently fallen in love with atmospheric sketches. Traditional art taught me a lot about layering to create depth.
