These babies are!! Dracolyke and Microzolt :o) ♥
@ajcubbon @Joe_Rohde Finally, there is direct fossil evidence for comparatively large remiges in some of the animals concerned, one of the best examples being the mid-sized dromaeosaur Zhenyuanlong (art here by @JCTArtStudio). #dinosaurs
Let's end the year on a very positive note for our environment! Ireland is nurturing a new generation of fossil fuel independence ☘️. Ireland joins the list of nearly 900 institutions that are divesting and will pull its money out of fossil fuels. #ClimateChange
I.....discovered that there's a fossil shop near me. OH NO. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaa~
POKEMON SWORD AND SHIELD FOSSIL RECONSTRUCTIONS ......

Another day, another ‘fun’ rant from my YEC coworker.
“Embryonics is a farce.” “The fossil record as it is portrayed doesn’t exist.” “*something something* polystrate trees...” ... How am I even supposed to deal with this?
Today for #FossilFriday we have a VERY rare specimen. A Parapeytoia yunnanensis appendage. These species’ classification is argued in the paleo community between being an Anomalocariid and a Megacheira. Picture 4 shows the possibly morphology of each classification.
Can you believe that the humerus (upper arm bone) of a T. rex is nearly the same size as yours? Research shows a single T. rex arm could wield up to 200 pounds of force. Sounds like a T. rex might not find all those jokes about its short arms HUMOROUS afterall. #FossilFriday
#FossilFriday Middle Pleistocene hominins. Elandsfontein skull from South Africa (~400 ka), Kabwe 1 skull from Zambia (~250 ka); Elandsfontein mandibular fragment superimposed to the Mauer mandible (~600 ka).

Using the Fang fossil, you revive Comanae.
Comanae - Fighting/Dark - Chewing Pokemon
Lvl 30 w/higher DEF stats
Codanae - Dark/Fire - Tail Pokemon
Level 30 w/higher ATK stats
Malanae - Fighting/Grass - Jaw Pokemon
I came up with other halves, other fusions, and ultimate fusions of the pokemon gen 8 swordshield fossilmons Dracozolt, Arctozolt, Dracovish, and Arctovish. Please excuse the sloppiness
Also no self-respecting cartoon stegosaur WOULDN'T have a thagomizer. Draco is a carnosaur!!!
the method maybe more interesting than the results, but turns out the #WoollyMammoth had a typical lifespan of about 60 years - slightly shorter than modern African elephants (65ish)

Also, #Alaska state fossil = woolly mammoth!
