Update: I tried to do my own take with the YCR Idle too.
Some notes: I don't like the melting mouth thingy so I didn't do that and I added little crystals in the spikes instead of purple glow. That's all. Xd

This can be better, but have this for now. ;3

I always liked to headcanon that Spiked Koopa was a mole, send by Bowser to pose as part of Syrup's crew, in a scheme to get the golden Peach statue for himself.

It's a fun thought that, alongside Wario, Mario and Syrup, Bowser was also involved in the fight over the statue.
