Back in Nov. I minted this piece on the pit of depression I'd been in. I'd intended to do more mental health pieces, but haven't been in the right head space. Later today I'm finally minting my next one, on another aspect of mh I struggle with. I hope you'll check it out.

Well, there are lots of aspects I take into consideration, but the main part for me is to take into consideration something that's special about the OC then find a nice name/word that has that as a meaning. E.g. my cowgirl Moona (might be obvious) Ushiko (cow child in japanese)

While it helps to use tone as shadow, you don’t need to know advanced lighting techniques to add this aspect to your drawings. Simple blocking of three or four tones is enough to do the trick.

Qs a comparison: while mha has fun character designs i do think they didnt do as much of a good job with portraying deku as an 'average guy', which is like his main thing in the beginning
Its not a bad design BUT in that aspect i think he falls a bit flat
