Made this after being inspired by doom eternal and having been wanting to draw something detailed for a while. Based on the icon of sin from doom 2 and eternal. You could see this as symbolism as to how Satan is in the Bible. Personally I think this is one of my best pieces ever.

A lovely old enamel patch box which would have contained beauty spots. The image depicts a young man releasing a bird from its cage, this symbolises his freedom. However, in the context of mourning jewellery, this iconography refers to the releasing of the soul. Late 1700’s.
