It absolutely disgusts me people are trying to say if you’re said age and not “good” at art you should quit. NEVER QUIT. Age has NOTHING to do w/ skill. The person trying to put that toxic idea into peoples heads has NO idea wtf they’re talking about.
My art when I was 16-17⬇️ https://t.co/C1wFKKmteR
Age 15 (can't find a 16-17 one rn, but they're similar) vs 35
I didn't draw for years in my 20s (partly bc of opinions like the one this reaction is based on) and it's just a hobby for me, but oh my goodness art is for everyone at all ages.
This thread is so so right and good 🙏🏻 https://t.co/0C9aMZ3YTh
This forced me to go to Deviantart to look at my hetalia art but here's me at 16-17 and me now (25) and like no one should ever stop drawing. Let kids fucking do things in peace https://t.co/a6C0lTvlcZ

@chelseakenna This was how my art looked when I was 16-17 (I’m 21 now). There’s definitely always room to improve your art at your own pace. Whoever said that bs is a wannabe art expert living back in cringe culture
if you think your skill development will end when you’re 16-17 when it comes to art, you’re severely underestimating yourself. here’s some pieces from when i was 16, vs my most recent pieces. you should look forward to how your art is gonna develop as you get older https://t.co/z4Fso2zOuN
Look at the first pic, which is from 2017 or 2018, when I was 16-17
The second pic is from this year
Art styles take TIME to improve
Calling a teen's art style dogshit is discouraging people to stop drawing
So, once again, GO FUCK YOURSELF IF YOU THINK LIKE THIS
@Random_Blorper Ayo yo ammend to my earlier tweet:
My art from 16-17 to now, don’t give up besties !! Ignore people who say shit like this mfkr
I see people talking about 16-17 artists and art quality at that age - well, this is what my drawings were like at that age. Not great, not good, but I didn't care. I did art because I enjoyed it - and still do! 😅 #CrashBandicoot

On the left is an artwork I made when I was around 16-17 and on the right is an artwork that I made 3 months ago. NEVER let your current skill level be the reason you quit something. If you really like doing something and want to get better at it, you will. 🧡 https://t.co/kLxIfi4RGZ
@Random_Blorper My "3rd grade level" digital art at 16-17 vs now. Don't quit

I'm 24. I started on traditional and Flipnote. If my art can improve with practice and drawing often, I'm pretty sure people at 16-17 can improve their art too. https://t.co/fTqZSrosa1
