【百年ﾆｭｰｽ】1922(大正11)年2月7日(火) 熊本の写真家,富重利平が死去。享年84。1837(天保8)筑後国柳川で出生。1864(元治元)上野彦馬に入門,写真術を学ぶ。1870(明治3)熊本で写真館開業。西南戦争で焼失前の熊本城や熊本鎮台幹部を撮影し貴重な記録を残した。富重写真館は代々続いて今も現存する。
