Low hanging fruit. Something that is easily achievable with minimal effort. Fine. I'll finish what I started 10 years ago. After lunch, I'll finish this piece that was left hanging in 2011. #digitalpainting #portrait #photoshop #chineseprincess
Two redraws I did on stream earlier.
The one on the left is from 2009; the one on the right is from 2011.

Kento is another character that I've been wanting to making a render of for years since I haven't done a larger character in so long and he's the last-remaining member of the Rock-Aozora gang without a render. The only sketch of him I ever did was from late 2011.
quick redraw of an "eeljinka girl" i previously did in 2011. remember those?
2021 2011
In the year 2011, there was a movie called 11-11-11 which was about something happening on November 11, 2011.
Then there was a movie called 12/12/12, about something on December 12, 2012.
Then they made 13/13/13.
I ended the series I started all the way back in 2011. It got revamped, changed formats and had too many hiatuses but it's finally over. For the last post, I wanted it to mirror the original cover under the old title. Look at the difference 10 years makes!
I never do these but I thought it'd be fun! 👉👈
ButtonEye is mostly based on aesthetics from characters of my childhood, but he was made just to be a doll project after I saw Coraline in 2011. His has story developed a lot since then!
So I was looking through old art and I learned that the oldest drawing of Laurel (that I still have) is from 2011. I can't believe it's been a decade. 🥲 Out of nostalgia I compiled some of my favs from over the years.
