Saturday's artwork this week, is by legendary aviation artist Michael Turner.
Famed for his depiction of RAF historical subjects, this artwork features my favourite 1930s bomber, the Handley Page Heyford. A British night bomber that was only phased out before the start of WW2.

Eilmer of Malmesbury (local aviation OG) was ‘flying’ (201 meters) in the early 11th century. He broke both of his legs ‘flying’ from roof of Malmesbury Abbey, but lived on to experience the Norman conquest of England.

British Bristol Brabazon was an aerial palace. Note rear-facing seats, berths, train-style sleeper cabins, "wash place", split-levels, etc. Different cutaways show different configurations. Remarkable. Only 1 built; later scrapped. :(
