Very bizarre how we’ve only really seen female, or femme presenting people in the main cast in queer relationships in cartoons. It’s never men.
I’m not complaining, the creators have to fight tooth and nail for what they get.

Something I'm not digging from what we've seen of Gen 9 is GameFreak using that soft, bloom-riddled, hazy lighting I revile in many modern games. My ideal rendering would pretty much be Gen 6/7's in HD - hard, crisply outlined cel-shading. Let cartoon monsters look like cartoons.

I don't normally do painted backgrounds so this part took a sec. I wanted to handle the city/contrast/shapes a bit like old batman/Gargoyles cartoons. For a coupe of them I made two painted versions- one before and one after lightning strike.
