That wasn’t me being biased, it’s just plain truth. And yes, of course, we have different tastes when it comes to art, but you can never throw words like “ugly” and “terrible” at them because they never are.

I’ve been rewatching Season 1 of The Owl House, and man
After seeing Season 2 end recently, S1 feels like an entirely different show😭
I’m overall mixed on the season
Sure, they are some amazing episodes like Grom
But other episodes are just kinda mediocre and forgettable :/

Its writing ranges from mediocre to garbage, lots of characters are insufferable, there's boob jokes galore, and it's got every cliché in the book, but my god is it entertaining because of it. Also, I just really love the style + the bug motifs.
