So I decided to showcase my OCs once in a while. We start with Viviona, a human mage specialising in illusion spells.

The shading is good for both pieces but maybe try adding darker background for the first piece for mysteriousness ? (And make the eyes glow)
The second piece is good too but (my opinion) the eye should be revealed more so a illusion of the eye(..)
@Keggton10 I think I have one like that in the Soul of the Cards. A Yu-Gi-Oh exe. Some believe him to be the real Anubis. He speaks only Egyptian/Hieroglyphics. He can also fuse with cards and can also use illusions. Like one of Sobek chomping on a victim's head which makes them pass out.
The air stands still. This creature's darkness dances as an illusion. You stare into his gaze as if you could reject its pull.
The scent of blood catches in the back of your throat, and finally, his voice rumbles, "You weren't looking for me, were you...?"

Fun fact: Hazel is shaped the way she is partially to invoke a more 'cartoony' owl look- and to pair with her illusions, which are more cartoony until she gets older and they become more realistic when she gets better with them.

On Umineko's Illusions. (Spoilers: this might reveal quite a bit about the nature of the world, at least if I am correct).
Abercrombie painted many variations of her favored subjects: sparsely furnished interiors, barren landscapes, self-portraits,& still-lifes. She also drew inspiration from her dreams as a "self-proclaimed" source for her paintings to convey reality, but with illusions of fantasy.
