Chasin his Indy dream Tobias won all of big races in USAC and continued to win in modifieds as well. Toby also had 1 NASCAR start at Dover but in 1978 he yearned to return to USAC. 2 huge wins came quickly. But Tobias tragically lost his life in a crash at Flemington, June '78🙏

1955, tragedy struck for 2 time Indy 500 winner Bill Vukovich will leading the 500 on lap 57. A 3 car pile up involving Roger Ward, Al Keller and Johnny Boyd happened in the path of Vuky. This sent Bill over the wall and hit a bridge and caught fire. Sadly, Bill died instantly.
