My $15 commission vs. Butch Hartman's $200

My art has never made anywhere near $200 but man... do I ever feel like maybe I under-value myself a lot if this is the level we're at.

Usually don't care how much someone in the industry is making or how much others charge for a commission, but apparently he's out there scamming people and being a tracer so

I may not be a big, famous professional artist like Butch but a $200 commission could get you all this original art plus some, while $200 to Butch gets you poor quality traced fanart. Just be sure to spend your money wisely folks 😔

I've never charged anyone 200 for a single drawing of mine, but I have enough confidence in my art to say I would never give anyone the quality Butch gave if someone paid me $200 for a drawing. What happened to giving your all? 1-3 are mine.

Actually the drawings shown are about $50-$60 And I should probably charge more... My commissions are open as well! I think I'm getting evicted due to my landlord selling my property. So please consider commissioning me, not a millionaire! 💜

2 years ago when I decided to increase my commission prices by a fair margin, I was ridiculed. Some took to calling my work "Deviantart tier garbage" and calling my pricing model "the EA of commissions".
