I have been feeling super demotivated from drawing since I've mostly recovered from my injury.
I hoped by finishing an old study I started agesss ago it would reinvigorate the art juices!

so here's some closeup of my brush strokes 'cus I like brushstrokes 😳👉👈

This trend has some sick timing oh boy
Hey there, I'm Nam! I am good at portraits, at showing emotions through the eyes as well as my brushstrokes
I especially like my pencil sketches, as they always feel so genuine and natural to me ✌️😙

Need to learn how to blend the border-brushstroke thing with my normal style but oh MAN it's fun to use when adding embellishments and details like these!

My work blurs the abstraction brushstrokes with hidden narratives.

Had the urge to revamp my art and toon based character! I named this guy Brushstroke and he had the ability to bring his subpar drawings to life in his power-based world. Might build on him a bit more; I have a weakness for toony characters!

My initial roughs for this had me paint stuff like this and it made me realise I can't rush painting plants convincingly, otherwise it comes out as an unnatural mess of brushstrokes

An amazing digital painting of Eddie which took exactly 31 hours, 27 minutes and 80,749 brushstrokes. He couldn't decide if there should be black smoke or not, so there's 2 versions.🎲

Great Job Dave Santia 🎲

Think I’ll leave the face there. I could keep pushing for a perfect likeness but I don’t want to lose my expressive brushstrokes and I like it as it is.

Here's another one. I think suffice it to say, his approach to illustrating influenced me greatly.
Not only in subject matter, but the way I approached each brushstroke.

Nathalie Marino creates energetic works of art using a bold palette with gestural brushstrokes and lush textures. She is influenced by Abstract Expressionism and Action Painting and explains, “I love to explore the unknown." https://t.co/3gPXpgyXFN

🌳Waldmüller’s landscapes demonstrate that plein air painting can even be consistent by doing without an emphatically subjective, spontaneous brushstroke, thus allowing the depiction of minute detail.🏛 Alte Nationalgalerie Berlin

I get criticism of anatomy and such, and that's fine - But art style is something that should be taken into account. And not everyone is gonna paint with the same brushstrokes.

Ya don't have to like it, but don't put your own artistic preferences on to people like they're law.

Then 's illustrations and comics, the loving brushstrokes, the motion and gesture, I weep. Got to read Our Little Kitchen with my nephew recently, it's a beautiful book about community coming together to make sure everyone is fed

"Rare Moments of Beauty" Pt.2 will start dropping May 6 ~ A collection of Renaissance-inspired brushstroke works from 2018, when I photographed clouds in New York and subsequently in Italy, and painted in those places.

Never released before, until now!

Here are some of my works. Thank you for the art share!

honestly zooming into my dragonspire sketch makes it very apparent that my brushstrokes are that of an unhinged person

Before the first brushstrokes of paint are applied, Gary Phillip’s process has begun in the selecting of found objects such as old doors and panels which will become not only his canvas, but part of the painting itself. https://t.co/K1TK0uJSXk
