i worked a bit on kaspers new ref while cooling down from comms today and i am musing over moon miqo eyes (i think the constricted pupil example i drew would be the smallest it can go in super bright light, hence the need for eye protection in most lighting...)

Whenever I feel like my art isn't good enough I go on a brush downloading binge and try to change a big thing. In this case, the lighting. Will probably continue to experiment in coming weeks.

@SNick_WT See? I Kept telling yall that the problem with santiago wasn't the model itself, it's cool!!!! Its just the dull Colors, Dull shading, and dull lighting.
This is how messy my art looks when I'm figuring out the colours and lighting. If it looks good when I squint, then I know the final thing will look good!
No major changes, kurangin kontras shading+gaussian blur here and there. Tambah layer buat lighting. Tambah BG random+partikel melayang2 di udara lol tapi aku suka dua2nya 🤔
@ClaireSilver12 There is no Issue with 'AI Art' It is a tool. Some use it in ways that align to your thinking. Others use it in ways that are cohesive and identifiable. For example AI was used for body/form. Rest was composite of advections and 3D texturing and lighting. Time will develop.
