in1951, Rosalind Franklin gave a lecture at Kings College London showing her ground-breaking X-rays of DNA. James Watson, who was present, won a Nobel Prize in 1962 with Francis Crick for solving DNA's structure. Franklin had died in 1958, and could not share in the prize.
