Finally, summer anime season is over for me. And yeah, not too many standouts -- especially for new stuff. Mostly sequels/continuations were most interesting. Out of what was new this season (that finished), here's what I mostly enjoyed.

Unlikely, but if Riddler returns in the sequels, I'd be down to see a loose adaptation of The War of Jokes and Riddles.

Like in most versions, Riddler has a particular obsession with Batman on the movie, and Eddie and Joker feuding who is Batman's one true nemesis could be fun.

Sweet collection. I have the classic and Gogo mangas.

Tho I wish the 90's manga and Tennyo Densetsu got released outside of Japan. By the by, these are sequels that happened after the classic manga and the 90's one did show Panther Zora being defeated in manga canon for once.

I played a lil bit of Devil May Cry as a kid. I only completed the game thanks to Gameshark and thus, no longer having access to such, I am very reluctant to revisit the game nowadays.
“Why not try out the sequels?”
They do not feature my fav dude

After realizing there are 5 Saturdays in October, I am revising my series of interconnected one-shots (sequels) to 5 for my group.

October is going to rule for Horror Roleplaying.

⚪️It has to be FLCL

🟡Not just the 2000 original, I'm including the 2018 sequels Progressive and Alternative.

🟡All three seasons together make a complete masterpiece in my opinion! https://t.co/45DIVWk2fh

my most anticipated (non-sequels) fall season anime this year <3

Absolutely not, unless it's something like Xillia 2 or Symphonia: Dawn of the New World which are direct sequels to their previous games. But if you want to play Arise, no you do not need to know any of the previous games to get into it.

Behold the sequels that were better than the first because they were masterpieces(or the games i sunk the most hours into). https://t.co/fhKYoSfYpc

The tragedy of Academy Comics getting the Robotech license pulled was the fact that they were trying build a larger universe beyond prequels, sequels, and shameless cashgrab crossovers.

Why not have it be Boruto or Yashahime?

Both Shows are Spiritual Sequels to Naruto and Inuyasha respectively, and it stars their Kids, too.

For this entire month to celebrate the remake of the Shaman King anime, I'm gonna be dedicating this month to Shaman King and re-reading the original manga, along with it's two sequels: Flowers and The Super Star,,

And i'm so excited to finally begin Shaman King September 😭😭

Well, there's not really anything new in the gameplay to be discovered there. (It's a maze shooter, and doesn't claim to be much more.) And the sequels are gorgeous looking games. So I really couldn't see any reason to try the original game. More than the ten minutes I gave it 😋

Okay but why was it always the direct to DVD Disney sequels

Rey’s introduction of her life on Jakku is one of my favorite parts of the sequels.

The score, set details, emotive closeups, & desolate landscape shots vividly render a story of resilience, innocence, & loneliness.
