Thinking about my headcanon that younger philip was actually super protective of small animals and this group of deer that lived in the woods.
He would like run into the woods when he was upset and the animals would try to comfort him, especially the deer.

Don't be too hard on yourself about it. Life can be so crazy & get comfortable to a few people at the end of the day. The holidays allows ppl to be there for those we rarely see. You don't have to engage. Just being there means alot to people.
