The more I look back on my art the more I start to realize, the technique and competency of an art style ≠ success. The impression and vibes are what sells the work. Ex. here are some of my best selling prints, all of which I can see a lot of "wonkiness" or error

I'm trying that technique where you draw the shading before your create the color layer as an overlay... and it works really well!
It does have a tendency to either look too gray, or 'dynamic', but I think it can be solved with manipulating the shade layer😉
