I got outside my comfort zone quite a bit on this one. There is a lot of room for Improvement but I think it was really good practice.

I also vividly remember Annihilus, a villain from the Negative Zone who captivated me from how truly alien he seemed, even compared to Marvel's not-infrequent literal extraterrestrials. He was like a grasshopper gargoyle made of silicon, I wasn't sure if he was a robot or flesh.
What I remember most vividly from those Fantastic Four omnibuses was the Negative Zone: one of my first exposures to an "alternate dimension" type era, rendered incomprehensibly deep and uncanny by Jack Kirby's command of both scale and photo collage.
