The Ukrainian Sergey Kirnitskiy is one of the best-known artists currently working in the area of engravings for bookplates, one of the few areas where erotic illustration is still alive. We'd love to see him illustrate a whole book! See his work at https://t.co/DJOxzpsn4c.

My latest commission...this one is a supersized, oil painting on board, inspired by roses in my garden. Verging on an abstract, has so many layers, some areas the oil paint is thickly applied with a palette knife.
Small commissions start from £200, dm me to discuss

I feel like my art style has change significantly over the past year and I’ve improved in all areas

It really makes me happy to see how much I’ve improved, showing all that hard work went to something! I’m still trying to improve everyday, learning new tips and techniques ☺️

been spending time curating and reflecting on my portfolio to get it ready for the SCBWI conference. it's always so illuminating to do this. I end up seeing patterns emerge. Things I'm proud of and areas where I want to continue to grow become clearer.

Type: Fire

It moves more frequently in hot areas. It can heal itself by dipping its wound into lava.

Yes! I make a habit out of shading in all sorts of ways, from extreme bright lights, single light sources, dimly lit areas, and more. It's probably the most fun part for me because it's when the drawing really comes to life <3 It's a good habit to get into!

Then, I pick the color that white became and place it where I want to shade the marked areas. I then put it as multiply (you can also use overlay for a different experience)

The underground has a completely different layout as well, comparing here to the final one. It's notably all accessible in one go, compared to final, where certain areas are only accessible by entering from certain parts of the overworld.
