Last week I played 's Distraint and tonight I dove into Distraint 2. A very worthy sequel - essentially more of the same but even higher quality, more interactivity, simple puzzles but a very polished experience overall. Full of dark themes but hopeful messages.

Of course the earliest D&D art was delightfully cheesy, but that speaks more to budget constraints than anything else. Modern D&D art, though technically skilled, is often garish and videogame-y by popular demand. It's loud, over the top, and reminds me more of WoW than Tolkien.
