by that i mean very simple shading too like just using a multiply layer and only darkening the original color w it or smth like add smth to make it pop!!! make it glow!!! make my eyes bleed!!! here's some examples of what i don't like below

Title: Star Opal.

Her eyes remind me of opalescent sheen, hence the title. First real try playing with shading and lightning. The hair was the hardest to draw.

You can see I put more effort into the hands here, having had more patience that day.
