So I designed these two characters back in like 2015, and the drawing was made in 2016. I repurposed the designs (hair + eyes) to create these characters in 2020. Needless to say, I've improved a little at anatomy at least? Even for kids, they were disproportionate lmao

I think I've settled on a version of my halfling I'm happy with. Added more fuzz and worked out the proportions to something that conveys smollness, but also looks like they could do all the cool fighting and jumping around I see them doing in my head.
