Ken Kaneki - Tokyo Ghoul. A quick fanart I threw together this afternoon. I tried brush shading which uhh... it's a lot harder than cel shading. At least my hair is looking more natural. ✌️

Hi! My usual icons (like my pfp) are $40 but I can also do a Flatcolor bust for $15 or cel shaded for $30

[ flight rising / anthro / scalie ] Been working on adding a new style for commissions, bit quicker lineart with cel shading.

Tested it out with Cala here versus my Smooth Color style.

Comparing cel photos against Toei's recent movie remasters. The difference in colour correction across the movies is very inconsistent. Movies like the first and eighth are largely pretty accurate, crop aside ofc, while movies 7 and 9 and many others have a strong yellow tint.

I think theres one big misconception here in general

Anime is still for the most part drawn on paper itself, its scanned in and then colored digitally instead of being painted over as a cel
The only part thats not "hand drawn" you could say is the coloring and post processing

20 Y.O. grey ace artist who happens to like doing *exclusively SFW* pin-ups of OC's and fanart.
Also just attempted cel-shading for the first time in a while and it turned out okay. Expect more of those!💗😏💦

Legend of Avian: A Drask Between Worlds

I love this game series and also like how this turned out. The Toon Link/ cel shaded style for Link is really appealing to me so I drew him in that. Though it would look nice lineless, I don't have time rn for that.
