This Tuesday I delivered WDATAG? 2021 exhibition workshop to Yr 2 Cross Primary, African wildlife.

Pretz got a lot of love in the character acting department! Lots of little bursts of incredible expressiveness, combined with awesome solid drawings all the way through on every character. It was modestly animated overall, but you could tell it was by choice due to the execution.

I was excited to tackle the project because it was the perfect task for me & my particular skills: I like to make h i g h l y detailed illustrations, and sometimes my work has a slightly childlike flavour; it’s relaxed, colourful & expressive.
Sometimes kinda wobbly too!

I don't know if any Western online shop sells them but you can try. And yes you can see that Mei really do learn to be more expressive as Blake eventually does. Parallels aren't meant to be frame by frame the same. It's more of common similarities between two things.
