I’m still mad about how the anime is handling Boruto’s character rn.
First, they removed Boruto’s line: when he told Naruto he already accepted his death, and it was his resolve. Then, they removed Sasuke’s headband, even if it was crucial for his character. (1/6)

Being able to just read something completely different unconstrained by the other bad stuff is much better. But even then, manga do also have AUs by other authors, they're just much better at advertising them and keeping them as distinct entities.
