Art by Alfredo Alcala for the first MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE mini-comics. 1981. These made such an impression on me as a kid. I’m from Holland, but the comics were in French/German/Italian, so I didn’t know what was going on. It made everything feel alien and sinister. Distant.

All this talk about "can you visualise the apple?" Reminds me of my favourite car game when I was a kid. I'd imagine Sonic and Tails running alongside us on the walls whizzing by, jumping over gaps, and bouncing off lamp posts. Did anyone else do that? (P.S gif by )
