Title: Star Opal.

Her eyes remind me of opalescent sheen, hence the title. First real try playing with shading and lightning. The hair was the hardest to draw.

You can see I put more effort into the hands here, having had more patience that day.

My best type of shading is with a severe backlight. I know this about myself. I wanted to start practicing how to highlight different materials, like cloth v leather

Mostly experimenting with the color and shading style for the comic. Think I like the darker shading tho.
